Shuchi Khanna's works are characterized by bold lines, well-defined contours and the definitive use of colours. She knows her mind and her subjects and this is conveyed with clarity in her canvasses. Having seen many of her works over time, I can say that her creativity has a fluidity and a certain versatility which is very pleasing. Shuchi's subjects convey myriad facets of human relationships. What is unique to her, however, is the way she works. She paints with her fingers and nails and is as deft with acrylic and oil on canvas as with specially treated handmade paper, as well as glass. Her style is a novel blend of medium and themes while her strokes are both strong and ethereal. I wish this Exhibition all success now and in the future.
